Detroit Institute of Arts

The Detroit Institute of Arts was having issues with a lot of dust sticking to the ceiling fire retardant and ceiling fixtures.

This was a particular problem as the DIA was preparing to host the traveling Van Gogh Exhibition. The DIA was concerned about the aesthetics of the Special Exhibition Salon but more importantly, they wanted to ensure the air quality for these priceless art pieces. A Klein Company was contacted to remedy the situation. This project required extra care as to not create unnecessary aerosolized dust during the cleaning process therefore only vacuuming could be utilized. We meticulously removed the dust from the exposed ceilings and

cleaned all of the individual light fixtures.
